Common questions.

Everything you need to know about our directory, our process, and how we serve Houston parents.

How are providers selected for the directory?

+

Providers can only join if they are referred to us — either by a Houston parent in our community or by an existing specialist already on the platform. From there, we personally meet every recommended provider to understand their practice, their philosophy, and how they care for families before they are listed.

Do you charge providers to be listed?

+

No. Our directory is free for the providers we list. We do not charge listing fees, placement fees, or review fees.

How often is the directory updated?

+

We continually welcome new providers through our referral and review process, so the directory is updated on an ongoing basis. Every listing also undergoes an annual review to help ensure the information remains current, accurate, and aligned with our quality standards. If a provider's details change, we encourage them to update us at any time.

Can I recommend a provider for the directory?

+

Absolutely — this is the only way new providers join. If a perinatal specialist changed your experience of early parenthood, sign in to fill out the referral form.

What areas of Houston do you cover?

+

We currently onboard providers serving families throughout the Greater Houston area. Specific service areas vary by provider, so please refer to each listing for details on the neighborhoods they cover. Some providers also offer mobile and hybrid services.

How are providers selected?

+

Every provider begins with a personal recommendation from someone already on the platform — either a trusted provider or a member of our parent community. From there, we personally meet with each provider to get to know them, their practice, and the experience they provide to families. We also verify their Federal NPI Record and license number before they are added to The Register.
